A 4 week mini series meant for dancers who are currently booking artists or graduates of the Pop a Pastie Solo series.
Want to expand your repertoire but need more guidance or just need a time capsule to keep you accountable? Want weekly feedback and the repertoire of a group experience. The act expansion series is perfect for you. Limited to only 5 people we will spend our 4 weeks together workshoping every dancers piece every week, from chorepgraphy to concepts and costumes. It will be fast and furious so I suggest starting with an act that you have already started thinking about or have been dabbling around with.
Series will run Sundays 12:30 - 2:30 August 17th, 20th, Sept 10th, 17th (no class Sept 3rd, but the studio will be choreography for you to practice) and culminate in a performance at September 20th Burly Bingo paid $50 plus tips. Show call time will be 6:30 show 7:30.
Due to the nature of the event we will be performing out, pieces should be to upbeat music and able to be performed in the round.
